The international festival of photography Cortona On The Move for the third consecutive year works with the Consorzio Vino Chianti for the International Award Happiness on the Move. The Chianti – known and loved around the world – travels and is told through the lens of photographers.
In the Press Conference of 27th April in Milan it will be presented the 2016 edition of Cortona On The Move, which promotes the work of professionals and emerging photographers through the international award Happiness On The Move, organized with the partnership of the Consorzio Vino Chianti wine and dedicated to the theme of happiness. Registration will open April 18th, 2016 and the winner, selected by a jury of international photo editors and publishers, is awarded a prize of 4,000 € funded by the Consorzio Vino Chianti. The chosen project will be exhibited in Cortona On The Move 2017.
Communicating wine through culture is fundamental and makes even more exciting initiative: wine and territory become a perfect combination of stories through images that evoke unforgettable emotions. So the President of the Consorzio Vino Chianti Giovanni Busi: “We are pleased with the collaboration of the Award and for the opportunity to talk to an audience outside of our industry. Cortona is a charming palce in which it spreads a strong local identity, with the passion of an international project which attracts professionals from around the world. Happiness in movement of the the premium is our leitmotif, a red thread, such as Chianti and experience to tell”.
